This healthy queso recipe is our favorite! It’s creamy, easy to make, and you only need seven simple ingredients. You’ll want to make over and over again. Break out the chips, this queso is sure to become your favorite too!
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp flour
1 cup milk
2/3 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
2 cups freshly shredded cheese (*not bagged shredded cheese)
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp salt
Melt the butter into a large skillet. Slowly pour in the flour into the butter and whisk creating a roux. Then slowly pour in the milk while continuing to whisk. Once the milk is fully mix in, whisk in the Greek yogurt and shredded cheese. Sprinkle in the cumin and salt and continue to whisk until the cheese has fully melted into the sauce.
Serve with a multi grain chips or whole wheat pita chip to complete the snack and enjoy!
