Our team member to meet this month is Alix. Alix grew up in the Butlerville (now Cottonwood Heights) neighborhood. She is one of four girls in her family. Alix attended Brighton High School. She is the mom of two terrific children a son, 15 years old, and a daughter, 19 years old. She loves to water-ski and camp.

Alix started her career with Dan’s Foods at the 21st South location. She has worked in many different departments, but her favorite department has been the Bakery Department. Alix is an experienced cake decorator with lots of talent and fun ideas.

She first came to the Foothill location a year ago as our new Bakery Manager, and has since become the Perishable Leader. She oversees all the perishable departments in our store, working closely with the bakery, meat, service deli and produce departments. She doesn’t look old enough, but she’s been in the grocery business 20 years! Alix says, “I’ve loved every minute of it!”.

If you talk to her co-workers they’ll tell you, if you ever get to work with her, watch out. There’s never a dull moment!
